Justice and Protection Mezuzah

This larger contemporary mezuzah was commissioned byAmerican Jewish World Service for the front door of their new New York office. The design was inspired by their mission of grassroots work for social justice. This piece honors their work by incorporating the Hebrew letter Tzadie (justice) and follows Jewish tradition by including the Hebrew letter Shin (protection).

Aimee Golant is originally from Los Angeles, California. Upon her graduation from San Francisco State University, she began her career as an independent metal artist creating Judaica and jewelry. She exhibits and sells her unique metal art internationally.

Matte pewter pieces are spray-sealed for weather protection. To further protect the scroll, wrap it in wax paper before inserting the scroll into the case. Includes artist’s tag with hanging template, a paper scroll (Kosher scroll available for an additional charge) & nails.
