Elijah & Miriam Cups by Susan Fullenbaum
$52.00
Size: 7″ H
For the Passover seder two goblets are placed on the table. The Elijah Cup is filled with wine, but not to be drunk, in expectation that the prophet’s arrival to announce the dawn of the Messianic Age. The Miriam’s Cup is filled with water, the symbol of the living waters from Miriam’s well.
Either goblet would be the perfect gift to bring to the Passover seder. In addition, the Miriam’s cup has been used over and over again as a bat mitzvah gift.
The graphic images on both goblets were designed with Julie Staller-Pentelnik, a Jewish artist, specializing in Hebrew calligraphy and ketubot.
