Artist Statement
“I use concepts culled from a lifetime of joyous Jewish experiences to create works that evoke warm responses and a familiar sense of shared human experiences and common bonds. The images incorporated into my engravings depict representations of life, love, family, community, Jewish ritual and customs in a world of fanciful forms and highlighted natural beauty. These hand-painted prints employ my own inherited sense of humor and optimism as well as a forum for expressing my idea that works of art can become a place to come “home” to. I create an aesthetic field where people can use my visions to relate to and reflect upon tier own life – experiences.”
